Well, all I can say is that I am disappointed that the Patriots didn't win, but...
Congratulations to the NY Giants for staying on their game throughout the four quarters to pull off the victory with only a little time left on the clock! It was a close game all the way through, but the Giants scored the touchdown that was needed to clinch the title of Super Bowl Champions!
The Patriots have nothing to be ashamed of, except for maybe not protecting Brady a little better than they did and not fully matching the strategy and drive of the Giants. But, really, they don't have anything to be ashamed of because they were the only undefeated team in regular season, which gave them an 18-0 record.
The Giants have a lot to be proud of, too. For a team that started off the season looking like they were going to end up somewhere on the bottom, they came in as a wild card team and beat the odds.
Good game, both teams! Congratulations Giants!

It can be fun to watch a game when a favorite team is playing, especially if that team wins. But, so often the simple thrill of a good football game is missed when all focus is on one team, their smart plays and boo-boo's, and the score. I now do try to look at a game as a whole and see the highs and lows of both teams on the field. I love the Patriots, but they did not play up to their potential, it showed, and they lost. I don't care for the Giants, but they showed quick effective thinking and moves that worked, and they won. Both teams were quite evenly matched (proven by the close, low score), did give us an exciting nail-biter, but the Giants deserved the win. I say it again, Congratulations Giants.
I agree both team did great and have nothing to be upset over..
No, neither have anything to be upset over when looking back over the past season. The Giants are the ones who have nothing to be upset over. But, I think the Patriots do have a little to be upset about because their performance was showing some "slippage" toward the end of the season and they didn't do anything about it to re-sharpen their skills for the Super Bowl. Shame on the Patriots for letting the Giants get to Brady over and over again!
The game could have gone either way, and for once was a interesting game.
Oh, I agree with you there! As good as the Giants played, they still didn't run away with the game even though the Patriots were not delivering quite to what we're used to seeing. This brought both teams to a pretty even playing level, keeping it close and tight throughout, which makes for a much more exciting and enjoyable game for spectators.

I'm sure it was very enjoyable for you, too. That's why it's good to have multiple broadcast choices (and DVD's/VHS's) so that each can choose what's personally more interesting. I wouldn't have cared what else was on any channel or what other options there were.....for me, there was only one choice. So, we both had a night of good TV viewing.
In any game there must be a winner and a loser. I always feel so sad for the loser though. What a disappointment to have come so far and lose in the last few minutes!
Oh, yeah, I always feel for the losers, too, especially when there has been consistently good performances. But, you know, every athlete knows the game and knows there has to be a loser. As crushing as it might be, they love what they do as well as the challenges, even when faced with losses.
Yes it was a very interesting game.We enjoyed watching it..I ate to much pizza tho !!!
I behaved myself in the refreshment department....well, I behaved better than I have in the past! lol I had some wings, a couple of ribs, and two beers. I did good, huh?
I don't tape shows anymore while I am watching another show as I found they would pile up and I don't watch them--I don't rent DVDs nor did I rent VHSs because I don't find time to watch them--plus with the writer's strike evrything is being repeated anyway.
