Ahhh, it feels good to just sit here as I type and try not to get any peanut butter or jelly on the keyboard. It's my lunch break!
I've been keeping busy all morning, scooting from one thing to another and getting some things accomplished. I feel pretty good today knowing that I've gotten the bed made, myself showered and dressed, the dishes all done, a blouse handwashed and hung up to dry, two small boxes placed up on a hard-to-reach closet shelf so I can honestly say they have been put away where they belong, and a couple of candles that I had been looking for were found and placed where I wanted them. And, that's just my personal stuff.
It has been a quiet work day, that's for darn sure. (I'm not going to make much money this way!) But, as soon as I was going to maybe take a little coffee break a couple of hours ago, the phone started ringing like crazy. It was one phone call after another with some call backs required, so, although I was sitting down the whole time, I never did get up to get myself a coffee or have that time to maybe read a little or to quickly post something.
The thing I am tackling now is trash. Tomorrow is trash pick-up day...almost all our regular trash is out in the trash barrels already...but there's always something more that can go out. So, I took the bag already in the kitchen waste basket and added in stuff from the bathroom waste basket and from the basket in here. Then...oh, and I hate this part...I went through the refrigerator and pulled out anything that told me it really shouldn't be in there. You know the stuff I mean...the items stored on cellophane-wrapped plates that can no longer be identified, the leftovers that look perfectly fine but are not quite smelling like they are fine, and the occasional thing that is both un-identifiable AND smells garbage-barge awful. I was going to haul the bag outside, but I've decided to have my lunch first and I will tell you why.
In order to make my lunch, I had to mess up the counter a little bit...a few crumbs and maybe a jelly smudge or two. I'm using a half-sheet of a paper towel instead of a dish. So, when I get done eating, I will have my paper towel "dish" with some crumbs (from me eating the sandwich and possibly from that counter) to throw away before cleaning up the dirty knife and counter, and rinsing out the sink. Once I've tossed the disposables from my lunch break into that bag, I will take it outdoors.
Well, I should end this lunch break now because the sandwich is finished (hooray, no stickies on the keyboard!) and I need a little more to drink (my tongue is stuck a little to the roof of my mouth). Besides, I do have a lot of things to do yet. Maybe I'll get to write again today during a blogging break or a "for me" break.

Hope you enjoyed your Lunch Munch. It's 3 p.m. and I have yet to have mine. A busy day on the computer so far, and yes, I have to have a trash pick up party myself today. Congrats on your productivity! I have still quite a bit to get make progress on today, one little productive step after another on the way to my goal. But first, a little break!

It sounds like you and me both are doing pretty good. I was so busy with other things (even "for me" things) that I never did get to post anything more during the day. But, hey, there's always another day and I did get a few things done so there's a teenie-weenie bit less left to do.
I almost always eat my lunch while I check e-mail and blog. It's always a great success when I don't spill something on me or the keyboard! Hope you have a productive day.

I often go through the day without realizing that time has marched on and I haven't had a thing to eat! So, I really have to pay attention or I'll go on for endless days of only eating once a day.... and not until around 6:00 PM or so. When I do eat, it is often at the computer. I've never spilled anything, thank goodness, but I have made the keyboard and mouse a little sticky or greasy a number of times.
PB&Js are the best! :) yummers!
Oh, I like 'em, too, I really do!
I, also, dislike cleaning out the fridge. I always wonder why in the world I saved what I did because no one is going to eat it. Then there are always those jars that have 1 pickle left, or a spoonful of jelly, or 1 glob of mayo, or........ you know what I mean!
Oh, I know exactly what you mean! I also threw out ketchup that had less than one "splat" left in the jar, a jar of mayo one would have needed a squeegie to get a smidgen of mayo out of it, and a bottle of Coke that could not have even had a mouthful of soda in it. Who puts those things back in the refrigerator anyway? Edie says she doesn't and I know I don't, and we're the only ones who live here!
Best to you, glad it's a move along day for you. My week too has been about changing the energies, new pictures to hang, moved some clutter in the bedroom, hubby filed files that had been left out. FEELS so much better.
Wow, so we're both making some real accomplishments. I cleaned out the medicine cabinet today...why are there bottles with just one or two pills in them and they're over 2 years old? Why is there an empty thing of deoderant in there? Well, anyway, that and cleaning the microwave and a few other things all got done today. The only drawback is that I am not reading people's posts as soon as I like to, and that makes me feel bad. And, I still can't even get close to the current date on my emails. But, I can't take the time to just sit and read it all, so I have to concentrate on the other stuff, chip away whatever I can on the blog and email stuff, knowing I'll eventually get it all done.
I love peanut butter and jelly!

So do I, AJ, so do I!
I just had peanut butter and jelly on toast....Must be a good day for that sandwich...
