Edie's birthday was last week, but it fell on a day that was a work day and a school night. It just made more sense to wait until the weekend for any kind of celebration. With Saturday being a busy, therefore, a bad day for us and for others, Sunday became the day of choice.

Members of Edie's family and my family joined Edie and I at The Vineyard Restaurant in Attleboro, MA. This is an excellent restaurant for any dining pleasure because it's a family restaurant that just happens to have a sports bar, a pizza area (with a brick oven), private booth dining, and areas for parties (including a dance floor). There's a full Italian menu, pizza menu, children's menu, beverage/liquor menu, and dessert menu. We opted for a PIZZA PARTY!

My mom didn't have any trouble digging into a piece from the first pizza!

Then the second pizza was served. Another one arrived shortly after. Yum!

After a harmonious rendition of "Happy Birthday", Edie blew out the candles on her cake. Gee, I wonder what she wished for.

There were cards and gifts to open, of course. Edie's nephew was pleased with the pictures he made for his auntie.

All in all, everybody enjoyed themselves. As far as Edie and I were concerned, we couldn't have been happier! The party I planned went extremely well and Edie had a great time!

Ana
Yep, she certainly did! 3 slices of it...plus she had chowder before the pizza came, some breadsticks too! She drank a large glass of Sprite and then had a cup of coffee! And, of course, she had a piece of birthday cake! (I still think I ate more than she did!)
I certainly will give her your greetings, Martin!
It's one of those restaurants that makes everybody drool! I was drooling from smelling the food while we were waiting to be served! Ana, I will extend your birthday wishes to Edie...thank you.
Thanks, Jackie! Yes, Mom is doing quite well. Everybody seems to be right now, which is such a relief. I will tell Edie that you said happy birthday to her...thanks.
It looks like everyone had a great time at the party!
Oh, we all did have a great time at the party! We were so stuffed that we practically rolled out the door, but we still stuck around talking and laughing out in the parking lot for awhile before anybody headed home. It was fun.
